FIELD: acetone and phenol production by cumene method. SUBSTANCE: method for cleaning exit gases from organic solvents in cumene oxidizing process to cumene hydroperoxide involves first-stage adsorption of cumene at 10-40 C using hydrophobic adsorbent. Oxidation abgases are supplied after first stage of adsorption to second stage of methanol adsorption using hydrophilic adsorbent, silica gel, and fully cation-substituted zeolite, type X or Z. During first and second stages desorption is effected by water steam. Desorbed products of first stage are returned to cumene oxidation process. Second-stage desorption product (methanol) is separated. Reconditioned adsorbents are cooled down by exit clean abgases coming from parallel-running adsorbers. Abgases are cleaned from methanol in the process to 5 mg/cu. m. EFFECT: improved degree of cleaning abgases. 3 cl, 2 dwg
