FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of phenol and acetone by cumene method and can be used at petrochemical enterprises for cleaning of exhaust gases. Method of cleaning exhaust gas includes four-step purification of exhaust gases from organic impurities of oxidation of isopropylbenzene. At the first stage, the gas is forced through a refrigerator-separator cooled by water at increased pressure. At the second stage, partially cooled off gas with high pressure is passed through a cooler-separator cooled by a coolant in form of "cold minus 4 °C". At the third stage, at increased pressure, the gas is forced through a packed column which consists of two sections filled with a regular segment nozzle. At the fourth stage, the gas is discharged through a cyclone-type apparatus operating at atmospheric pressure, wherein the exhaust gases are further cleaned from isopropylbenzene. All trapped isopropylbenzene and other organic impurities are fed into the collector for further use in the process.
EFFECT: invention increases degree of purification of abyss of oxidation of isopropylbenzene, improves ecological situation as a result of reduced emissions of isopropylbenzene to atmosphere and excludes costs associated with application and regeneration of adsorbent.
