FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: in the process of phenol-acetone production involving cumene oxidation technology, cumene oxidation gases are passed through adsorbent layer and exhausted adsorbent is then treated with live steam and air dried. Industry is distinguished by carrying out adsorption at 10-40 C and using, as adsorbent, commercial zeolite- containing Zeocar-type catalytic cracking catalyst. Amount of live steam is tenfold that of cumene adsorbed, and air drying temperature ranges from 120 to 150 C. EFFECT: increased adsorption capacity and life time of adsorbent. 10 ex
