FIELD: organic chemistry, peptides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the synthesis of peptides showing an antialcoholic activity. Invention describes the novel tetrapeptide of the general formula (I): Trp-Nle-Asp-PheNH-CH(CH3)2. Proposed tetrapeptide can be used as a base for development of medicinal forms showing an antialcoholic activity. The developed tetrapeptide shows an antialcoholic activity, does not produce anxiogenic effect at peripheral route of administration. EFFECT: synthesis of tetrapeptide indicated above, antialcoholic properties, decreased cost of synthesis, absence of adverse effect. 3 tbl, 3 ex
