FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: raw material is fed into reaction zone and is irradiated by electrons or protons simultaneously with gamma-quantum activation. Apparatus has charged-particle accelerator and working chamber with, built-in therein, device for introducing particle beam and inlet and outlet connection pipes. In front of this device, there is tungsten target mounted in the chamber to generate secondary gamma-emission. Target is made in the form of a barrier separating working chamber into reaction zone and activation zone.
