FIELD: fluid energy to reciprocal motion conversion; wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: converter has hollow working element with effectively streamlined surface (spherical or cylindrical surface) provided with diaphragm attached to actuator rod and diaphragm reset device. The latter is made in the form of partition plate incorporating locking unit and coupled with diaphragm; it is mounted for crosswise displacement relative to upper part of working element surface; mentioned surface has hole in front of partition plate along flow motion. Converter may have two symmetrical working elements whose surfaces form variable-section channel. EFFECT: simplified design and improved efficiency of converter. 2 cl, 1 dwg
