FIELD: concentration of minerals containing precious and heavy metals. SUBSTANCE: sluice box has inclined trough with supporting members rotatable round their axes and mounted in trough side walls, and crank mechanism secured to trough bottom and having drive and tie-rod system. Suspended inside trough from pins located in eccentrically arranged holes of supporting member is shaking bottom plate with clearance relative to trough bottom. Laid on bottom plates are carpets and riffles. Bottom plate is connected by means of tie-rod system with crank mechanism. Reciprocation of tie-rods is transformed through fastening units into shaking motions of bottom plate. Installed on trough side walls are branch pipes for supply of water to clearance between bottom plate and bottom of trough. Bottom plate is hinged to one of trough side walls.
