METHOD OF CONTROL OF EXTINGUISHING CONDITIONS OF BURNING PROCESS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: fire extinguishing; applicable in control of burning processes of burners in fields of their application. SUBSTANCE: method includes reduction of burning temperature below temperature of burning extinguishing by cooling of reacting substances in zone of burning and/or isolation of reacting substances of burning zone, and/or diluting of reacting substances in burning zone to nonburning concentrations or concentrations nonsustaining burning process with sprayed agent. Rate of reduction of burning temperature is additionally controlled by control of value of excessive pressure of agent formed in form of sheet at outlet of spraying device directed to burning. Value of excessive pressure of sprayed agent sheet is controlled depending on area and temperature of burning zone of fire and/or by control of conditions of supply of agent to spraying device in supplying pipeline, or by control of conditions of switching of connection of outlet metal nozzle of spraying device, either to grounding circuit, or to source of stabilized voltage.
