METHOD OF CONTROLLING CONDITIONS OF HEAT-WETTING TREATMENT OF CONCRETE AND REINFORCED-CONCRETE PARTS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2111191 C1

FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to heat-wetting treatment of molded concrete and reinforced-concrete parts in treatment chamber and aims at increasing reliability in controlling treatment conditions and quality of products. To that end, in addition to controlling gauge pressure in chamber, moisture content of concrete parts is also controlled by way of regulating chamber atmosphere heating by autonomous heat sources, regulating moisture content in chamber atmosphere and specifying water spraying quality by switching on and off feeding water on spraying devices. All control technology consists in a series of consecutively performed periods: induction aging, pure heat and heat-wetting treatment, and final aging. Specified amount of water sprayed in the chamber is provided by stabilizing specified values of temperature and water pressure in supply pipeline as well as by closing water spray jets by shields (large drops come into collision with shields, flow down over them, and are removed through shield drains). Also, controlling intake of air forced into the chamber may optionally stabilize chamber atmosphere gauge pressure. In any case, value of the electric potential is regulated either by controlled source of stabilized voltage imposed on metallic parts of platforms or formworks supporting molded concrete parts or by one or several controlled sources of stabilized voltage using potential difference arising between metallic parts of platforms or formworks and special electrodes in the form of metal plates or metallic parts of the treatment chamber. Both metallic parts of platforms or formworks and metal plates of special electrodes are insulated from each other and from the casing ground of treatment chamber. EFFECT: increased reliability of operation and reduced power consumption. 3 cl
