FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is paint for forming protective-decorative coatings on nonmetallic substrates both inside and outside of buildings and structures. Paint comprises, as main film-forming agent, latex of vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride-maleic acid copolymer, organosilicon liquid, chalk, kaolin, emulsifier, sodium, carboxymethyl cellulose, thiuram D- tetramethylthiuram disulfide, metal oxide, plasticizer, ethylene glycol, and water. Organosilicon liquid includes aqueous solution of sodium ethyl siliconate and aqueous solution of sodium methylsiliconate. Film- forming agent is synthetic oligopiperylene rubber, and foam suppressor is polymethyl-siloxane liquid, and coalescent is white spirit.
