FIELD: multicomponent fibers and nonwoven material disintegrated by water. SUBSTANCE: multicomponent fibers in which, at least, one component provides for tying of fibers with one another and with fibers of other types and in which this one component may be disintegrated in aqueous medium. Such fibers may be used for formation of fibrous nonwoven materials which may be used as components in articles of medical and sanitary applications, towels and absorbing articles of personal hygiene.
