FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine can be used in road and water vehicles of all types, general aviation and stationary power plants. Round rotor is installed in housing with exhaust manifold. Working plates are installed in radial slots over rotor perimeter. Engine has reduction gear, and volume adjuster unit. Intake manifold is made in front cover, and strip valves of mechanism to control duration of suction and exhaust phases are installed. Housing has first and second hemispheres. Surface of housing from side of second hemisphere, including exhaust manifold, is covered by layer of catalyst to provide optimum process of working mixture combustion. Design of engine makes it possible to control duration of suction and working strokes within required limits. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 3 cl, 7 dwg
