FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary internal combustion diesel engine contains fixed body with two diametrically symmetrical profiled working spaces, output shaft rigidly coupled with cylindrical rotor provided with two profiled slots in which swinging pistons are secured on axles parallel to axis of rotation of rotor, two end face covers in one of which two ports are made mating with beginning of each working space for sucking air charge and two ports mating with end of each working space to discharge exhaust gases. Two combustion chambers, each made in form of two mating cylindrical spaces, are arranged in engine body parallel to axis of rotation of rotor so that each intake port of rectangular form is mated with end of one working space, and each exhaust port is mated with beginning of other working space. Each intake port from side of combustion chamber is closed by valve in form of curved plate which conjugates by cylindrical surface without clearance with cylindrical surface of combustion chamber around port, and gets with clearance by projecting part into port space by turning on axle parallel to axis of cylindrical space of combustion chamber displaced and to its wall. Each exhaust port is closed by valve made in form of two diametrically symmetrical segments of cylinder furnished with sealing elements whose design provides gapless conjugation with surface of combustion chamber by turning on axle of rotation aligned with axis of cylindrical part of combustion chambers in which valve is arranged.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and power, and improved reliability and ecological cleanness of engine.
