FIELD: quantum engineering; experimental physics, medicine, ecology. SUBSTANCE: laser mounts tanks holding different active materials which makes it possible to change these materials for lasing various frequencies within comprehensive range. Active material is changed by cooling down desired tank to temperature of liquid nitrogen and freezing it out followed by bleeding-in from other tank which makes it possible to instantly change active materials and to obtain submillimeter-wave lasing at various frequencies. EFFECT: enlarged submillimeter-wave lasing range and increased number of lasing lines. 1 dwg
