FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: analgetic drug is instillated into eye to be operated. Then surface graft of cornea is separated and turned aside. Stroma of cornea is exposed to excimer laser beam, and graft of cornea is repositioned. Edges of cornea graft are reduced by 0.1-0.5 mm before or after exposure to laser beam.
