FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: corneal biomicroscopy is carried out on the 2nd d after exymer-laser impact. Area and localization of diffuse infiltration is determined. At its availability in central and paracentral areas one should predict the possibility for the development of corneal fragment dystrophy. If area of diffuse infiltrate corresponds to 3 mm2 and more the dystrophy is developed at probability of 1-2 %. If area of diffuse infiltrate is below 3 mm2 the probability for dystrophy development corresponds to 10-15 %. The method enables to predict the probability for the development of corneal fragment dystrophy at earlier stage. EFFECT: improved quality of therapy. 2 ex
