FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining border of the flap remained from the previous special laser keratomyleusis operation. Incision is made. Corneal flap is separated along the incision from corneal stroma using spatula. The spatula for separating flap is made as a handle with disk of 3-4 mm diameter, attached to the handle at an angle of 40-50 deg. The disk is introduced under the flap. The disk is moved under the flap to its middle in oscillation mode. The spatula is brought downward. The cornea is exposed to laser beam. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; low risk of complications.
