FIELD: petroleum refining, petrochemical industries and industry of building materials, applicable in installations for oxidation of hydrocarbon raw material and production of bitumen. SUBSTANCE: gas- liquid reactor has a vertical cylindrical casing with a cavitation-turbulent apparatus installed in the middle part of the casing and made in the form of mixing and foam chambers interconnected by means of a converging nozzle. The air feed pipe connection is installed tangentially, and the raw material inlet pipe connection is located along the axis of the mixing chamber at a distance of 20 to 55 mm from the converging nozzle and made in the form of a nozzle with a cavitator-dissector made in the form of a cylinder with a taper top, whose generating line has a radius of curvature within 8 to 15 mm. The raw material feed nozzle accommodates a swirling device in the form of a square non-standard thread with number of starts n=8 and thread pitch P=2-5 mm. The cavitator-dissector is located at a distance of 4 to 10 mm from the raw material feed nozzle. The foam chamber nozzle has a confuser changing into a flow-through chamber, and a diffuser having the same angle of conjugation with the foam chamber confuser, having an angle of 100 to 130 deg. The raw material feed nozzle has a diffuser, whose radius of curvature makes up 8 to 15 mm. EFFECT: increased duration of stay of the gas phase in the zone of reaction by 1.5 to 2 times and enhanced dispersion of raw material in gas due to processing of flow in cavitation- turbulent apparatus and due to mixing of countercurrent flows of raw material and gas. 5 cl, 2 dwg
