DRIVE OF DRIVING AXLES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: drive of driving axles has housing, coaxial input and output shafts, planetary mechanism including two bevel gears and cross with planet pinions, clutches and spur gear drive. One clutch is mounted on rim of input shaft for selective engagement with rim of cross shaft or with rim of tubular shaft on which one of bevel gears of planetary mechanism is secured. Other clutch is arranged on rim of gear of spur gear drive for selective engagement with rim of tubular shaft or rim of shaft of planetary mechanism housing. Third clutch is installed on rim of set housing wall for disengagement or for engagement with rim of tubular of other bevel gear. Fourth clutch is installed on rim of output shaft of rear axle drive for selective engagement with rim of tubular shaft of second bevel gear or with rim of cross shaft. All clutches are interconnected through one slider. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of vehicle. 2 dwg
