FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: differential is installed at outlet of short tubular shaft of two-shaft eight-range non-axial transfer case of low metal usage with gears freely fitted on shafts. One differential gear is secured on rear axle drive shaft, and other gear is secured on front axle drive shaft passing inside short tubular shaft. Three-position sleeve at outside of short tubular shaft engages with rims of differential and (or) front axle drive shaft. Invention provides possibility of choosing modes of drive shaft operation, namely, front drive, wheel arrangement 4x2, differential, or interlocked drives, wheel arrangement 4x4.
