FIELD: pressure bending and hardening of glass sheets especially for use as glazing for transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: method includes pressing in fact of horizontal sheet between molds having opposite mutually complemented forming surfaces. In this case, at least, one forming surface is kept at temperature of 200-350 C with subsequent abrupt cooling of sheet surface. Device for method realization is offered.
