FUR WEB MANUFACTURE METHOD Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: fur dressing, in particular, production of various kinds of garment, household and ornamental articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing rectangular fur parts and cutting them in opposite directions, with space between them being 2-4 multiple the thickness of leather web, so that cutting lines do not reach fur parts edge, toward which fur parts are cut for value equal to 3-4 thickness of leather web; connecting fur strips one with the other and with at least one thread and twisting together with thread at twisting rate of 3.5-3.7 m/min and density of 4-6 wounds per one cm; making fur web by knitting twisted fur strip with thread. Method allows nonstandard knitted double-sided fur web of knitted fabric type to be obtained, with total fur hair structure being kept. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and wider range of articles obtained by method, improved strength and efficient usage of fur industry wastes. 1 dwg
