FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: structure can be used in hydraulic engineering and particularly for quick erection of barrier structures. Collapsible structure has two side walls 6, and two end walls 7 which are pivotally connected to side walls. Also provided are multiplicities of intermediate separating walls 8 which are also pivotally connected to side walls, and they are located at predetermined permanent distances from each other. Side walls 6 are created by multiplicity of major members which are pivotally connected to each other along vertical side. Each of end walls 7 and each of separating walls 8 is created by single standard-type component. Aforesaid standard-type components are made of panels or net, preferably from metal net and at one side they are coated with one or more sheets of material which has finer cellular structure than net. This material is preferably of geotextile type. Multicellular structure can be folded like corrugated structure down to flat position. When folded to flat position it requires less space irrespective of its length when in extended position at installing in place of use. Aforesaid structure can be easily removed and transported by special transportation facilities or by means of conventional cargo carrying vehicles. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 6 dwg
