FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geocomposite, which is suitable for strengthening and/or drainage of the soil and to its production method. Geocomposite consists of a set of layers including at least first geotextile canvas (12) and at least second geotextile canvas (14), which are thermally fixed with attachment to sides of intermediate separating layer (16), which is obtained using at least one geomat of twisted plastic threads, having a thickness from about 4 to 5 mm or more. At least one of first geotextile canvas and second geotextile canvas (12, 14) is water-repellent non-woven textile material. This geocomposite can be used as a base to form complex geocomposite, in which, on at least one of canvas (12, 14) of basic geocomposite (10), at least one additional geosynthetic layer (19, 42, 44) is thermally fixed, selected from a group including geogrids, geonets, geomats, geotextiles, geomembranes, or a combination or layering thereof.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of geocomposite, which reduces a risk of efficiency loss as a result of impact of localized high pressures, and which, thereby, provides suitable shock absorption, which is effective, suitable, and reliable in use, while being simple and economical in manufacture, as well as provides creation of a method for the production of geocomposites, which is technologically flexible, and which can be effectively used for formation of different geocomposites, which have required mechanical properties and filtration characteristics.
