FIELD: machine engineering, namely bearing assemblies. SUBSTANCE: roller bearing includes outer flangeless and inner flanged rings with one or several cone races, cone rollers, massive comb-like retainer in the form of flange and bridges arranged on cylindrical surface with diameter less than inner diameter of flange. Lateral sides of bridges are in the form of portions of cylindrical surface having diameter equal to diameter of large end of roller, axis arranged in one plane with axes of roller and bearing and inclined relative to bearing axis more than roller axis by value equal to crossing angle of said cylindrical surface with roller axis in plane of large end of roller. Crossing angle is determined by relation Δα = (Dw•β):(2•E) where Dw - diameter of large end of roller; β- inclination angle of roller generatrix relative to its axis, E - spacing between outer surface of retainer bridge and centroid of roller axes. EFFECT: improved design providing reduced cost of roller bearing manufacture, enhanced basing and guiding of rollers by retainer. 3 dwg
