FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: roller spherical bearing comprises outer race with spherical or toroidal race way, inner race with one or several toroidal race ways, one or several rows of barrel-shaped rollers, and at least one separator with cross pieces that define ports for setting rollers. The wall of the port defined by the cross-piece is composed of two surfaces. One of the surfaces is cylindrical, and the other one is concave and trapezoidal. The line of the intersection of the surfaces is located above the axis of the roller. The radius of generatrix of the concave toroidal surface issues out of the center of the roller generatrix and is greater than its radius.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and increased durability.
