FIELD: heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaporation of working medium with heat supplied from low-temperature coolant, its compression, condensation, heating of coolant flowing in heat supply system, and throttling. In the process, some portion of total coolant flowing in system is heated by working medium in the course of its compression prior to heating it in condenser. Device implementing this method has compressor or its separate stages provided with heat-transfer surfaces connected to condenser pipelines for introducing coolant from heat supply system. Pipelines incorporate system coolant distribution valves mounted between condenser and heat-transfer surfaces of compressor. EFFECT: improved power efficiency of thermal energy transformation. 10 cl, 3 dwg, 2 ex
