FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves radially marking the cornea by tracing 8 to 12 rays. A circle is marked and thermal coagulation is carried out to 80% of cornea thickness at the intersection of several marking sets. The first coagulate is pierced for conducting a thread at the depth of half width of the cornea stroma. Pierce-out is carried out through the neighboring coagulate on the cornea surface. The next coagulate is pierced at the same depth of the cornea stroma and the circular suture is continued through the rest of the coagulates all over the whole circle perimeter. The suture is tightened and tied under keratometer control to reach precalculated value of cornea refraction. EFFECT: stable refraction correction treatment effectiveness. 1 dwg
