FIELD: recovery of worn-out tires. SUBSTANCE: device has current pulse generator and cryostat filled with cryogenic liquid which accommodates perforated magazine that follows tire surface and incorporates set of needle electrodes and internal electrode. The latter is connected to perforated magazine and each of needle electrodes is electrically insulated and connected to pulse generator through coaxial cable whose length is found from equation L ≥ 0,5(tv+Δtv)•Vc, where tv is maximum time of tire rupture, s; Δtv is maximum time interval between voltage application and initial rupture of tire, s; Vc is speed of voltage wave propagation through cable, m/s. EFFECT: improved efficiency of tire rupture at reduced power requirement. 2 dwg
