FIELD: furniture. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to method of fastening upholstery on moulded base, for instance, on seat cushions. Upholstery 1 is placed in cold moulding set 2 and is fastened in set by supporting frame 3. Then inner walls of upholstery 1 are coated by layer of glue 4 and surface of base 5 which should come in contact with inner walls of upholstery 1 is heated to high temperature. When preset temperature is obtained, heating is interrupted and plastic foam base 5 is pressed to inner walls of upholstery 1 coated with glue 4. Invention provides instantaneous heat transfer through direct contact with glue 4 which causes quick solidification of glue after which cold moulding set 2 is opened and base 5 with upholstery 1 is taken out. EFFECT: facilitated upholstering of seat cushions. 1 7 cl, 15 dwg
