FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials used in civil engineering, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace industries, and relates to the method for production of multilayer sandwich type building materials. The manufacturing process includes the steps of placing into a heated mould of two facing layers of moulding press material and the thermal insulation layer made of porous open-cell polyurethane or phenolic resole foam between them, thermal pressing, holding, removal from the mould. The cladding layers are polyester glass-press material - diffluent prepreg. To increase the rigidity of the foam it is pre-treated with an organic solvent for pore opening and impregnation with suspension of epoxy resin, polyethylene polyamine and inorganic particulate material.
EFFECT: invention provides increased fire resistance, adhesion and flexural strength of the resulting sandwich structure and the process optimization.
