FIELD: hydrolysis industry. SUBSTANCE: cellulose and hemicellulose in biomass are first subjected to concentrated sulfuric acid-assisted decrystallization and hydrolyzed to form sugar- and acid-saturated hydrolysate. Then, silicon oxides are removed from biomass and processed. Remaining solids are subjected to second decrystallization and repeated hydrolysis. Resulting sugar solution is subjected to microorganism (yeast and bacteria)-assisted fermentation involving simultaneous fermentation of hexoses and pentoses. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency with no environmental pollution. 60 cl, 3 dwg, 21 ex
