FIELD: mechanical engineering; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; fastening of hoses on pipes exposed to vibration. SUBSTANCE: proposed worm clamp has screw, metal band turned into ring and provided with projections or slots on one free end for engagement with screw, and body with side end face. Screw has cylindrical plain section after thread. Locking strip is installed for turning between end face of cylindrical section and side end face of body. Locking strip engages after turning either with band or with body. Locking strip is made in form of flat plate with hole in one end and it provided with end face surface arranged eccentrically at one or both sides relative to hole axis. After turning of locking strip, for instance, through 9090^°, end face surface profile gets into recess or slot on free end of band. Projection is provided on side surface of locking strip to engage with side end face of body after turning the strip. Screw is installed in body with two side end faces. Screw is provided with additional cylindrical section at side of beginning of thread, and second locking strip is installed between end face of cylindrical section and side end face of body for turning and engagement with band or body.
