FIELD: mechanical engineering; erection and repair of pipe lines of water supply and heating systems. SUBSTANCE: coupling has ring made from band and consisting of one or more parts; loops made from band are formed at ends of each part of ring in which rods are inserted; rods are drawn together by means of studs located in free areas provided in loops; insert fitted at split area of ring adjoins sealing collar. At least one connecting member mounted in free space of loop is used for connecting the rod with stud; it is made in form of plate with one or two holes or slots in one plane or in mutually perpendicular planes or in form of clamp whose two lateral walls have holes and central wall between them is rounded-off. One part of connecting member is engageable with rod and other is engageable with stud. Stud is located coaxially with rod or one and/or other side from it; connecting member made in form of plate and stud are so positioned that may get disengageable from rod at incomplete unscrewing of nut from stud. When no less than two studs are fitted on one end of ring, they (or connecting member made in form of plate) are interconnected by means of strip. One rod is fitted before plate resting against its end face directed towards other rod or one end of stud is bent in form of hook inside which rod is located. At least one rod is bent in form of semicircumference whose inner radius corresponds to radius of stud fitted inside semicircumference of rod and in holes of clamp whose lateral walls exceed inner size of semicircumference in which. Stud is bent in center portion and its ends are located on either side of rods in holes of plate engageable with rod by its end face; second rod is fitted inside bent portion of stud having round or rectangular section in area of bent.
