FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves straightening the penis, carrying out plastic repair by means of triangular skin flaps. Continuous carbon dioxide laser emitter is applied during operation. Gas jet is concurrently delivered into laser action zone, with gas not supporting combustion process applied. Specific gas flow rate is related to guiding tube outlet opening cross-section. To perform skin incisions, to cut out and mobilize the urethra, laser beam diameter makes up 0.5 mm. To evaporate cicatricial tissue areas connected to protein tunic and to coagulate large vessels, light spot diameter is to be equal to 1-2 mm. Specific gas rate is differentially determined depending on operation stage. The device has laser beam and gas jet guidance handle which properties are set in correspondence to beam properties. EFFECT: reduced zone of injured tissues; improved homeostatic result. 2 cl, 9 dwg
