FIELD: medicine, particularly, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: perforation forceps may be used for surgical intervention in vertebral column. Forceps have arrester and hinge-connected spring-loaded blades with operating jaws, matrix, and piercing-and-cutting punch. Punch cone is connected rigidly on one of jaws and provided with base which forms obtuse angle with adjacent surface over entire perimeter. Surface adjacent to base and external punch surface form cutting edge at their crossing. Matrix is sharpened on external surface in direction of contact with bone tissue, and its internal surface corresponds to external surface of punch. Sharpened part of matrix and cone of piercing-and-cutting punch form assembly of bone tissue catching and forming of through hole. As a result, bone tissue is caught at preset place with accurate formation of through hole at this place, particularly, in spinous processes of thoracic and lumbar vertebras.
