FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out spinal cord decompression from single transthoracic access. Feeding stem is created as one having neurovascular intercostal complex from the intercostal zone one or two segments above the spinal cord lesion area. Angiotrophic disorder zone is covered with neurovascular fascicle of the produced intercostal stem longitudinally within the area of healthy spinal cord tissues. EFFECT: improved neurologic deficiency correction; eliminated cerebrospinal canal stenosis; improved trophic conditions in anterior part of the spinal cord lesion area.
