SUBSTANCE: retainer has console-shaped projections positioned on upper and lower parts of retainer at side opposite to radial wall and equipped with teeth on their end surfaces. Said projections are joined at bottom and top parts thereof to wall of hollow casing. Notches are formed on lower surfaces of projections. Elliptical openings are beveled inward of casing to provide for convenient mounting of retainer. Apparatus may be used for retaining of spine after resecting of broken vertebra body and correcting of post-traumatic deformation of spine.
