FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: operation of apparatus is based on optical radiation of visible and/or infrared range. The apparatus has power supply source, number of radiating diodes with different spectra from light and/or infrared radiation range which forms radiating diode matrix connected to power supply source. Part of diodes are connected in parallel. They form separate groups of parallel-connected radiating diodes connected in series. Within separate group of parallel-connected radiating diodes it is expedient to select diodes of identical nominal voltage. Diodes of different polarity are connected in pairs in groups of parallel-connected diodes so that unipolar diodes are connected in matrix column. Number of diodes in every group is selected proceeding from approximate equality of sum of operating currents of unipolar diodes in group to full of given direction through matrix. Number of groups is selected proceeding from approximate equality of sum of group nominal voltages to output voltage of power supply source. Surplus voltage is damped by means of damping resistor (resistors) connected in series to both separate diodes and matrix as a whole. The apparatus provides for electric safety and preserves therapeutic efficiency in case of failure of part of radiating diodes in matrix. EFFECT: higher reliability. 5 cl, 5 dwg
