DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE OF PARTS FROM THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL BY BENDING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: processing of thermoplastic materials, in particular, equipment for hot moulding of plate blanks from thermoplastic materials by bending. SUBSTANCE: device has a table, gripper, heater and a moulding member. The heater is installed for turning in the vertical plane and reciprocating motion in the horizontal plane. The moulding member is made in form of an -shaped part and furnished with a drive for its turning in the vertical plane, two drives for its reciprocating motion in the horizontal plane, and two drives for reciprocating motion in the vertical plane. The drive for turning the moulding member in the vertical plane is made in the form of two reversing gears, containing two gussets each. The gussets are fixed in an -shaped part and made with -shaped cutouts for movable kinematic coupling of the moulding member to the rods of the horizontal drives through spring- loaded axles. The gripper is made in the form of a hollow pressure plate with holes for air outlet and installed for reciprocating motion in the horizontal plane. The table working part in the bending area is made as a cantilever. The device is furnished with regulators-locks of the bending angle installed on the rods of the horizontal drives.
