FIELD: thermographic industry. SUBSTANCE: half-tone image created by thermographic method has at least two kinds of half-tone dots correspondingly with different optically effective structure. Beside that, each half-tone dot can be of different dimensions. Thermographic film is unfolded for producing half-tone image. Thermographic film is made so that graphic layer in different areas has half-tone dots of different dimensions so as to be able to operate with permanent density of dots but despite that to have possibility to form on substrate more or less densely printed spots of half-tone image which affords versatile possibilities of decorating and structuring. Due to specific structures it is possible in addition to ensure high protection of half-tone images from falsification for example by color copying. Different coloring of half-tone dots is achieved by various coloring of protective varnish layer. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 14 cl, 3 dwg
