FIELD: opening and closing devices. SUBSTANCE: device relates to contraptions intended for opening and closing of gates and doors at industrial enterprises, public service buildings, private houses, doors of lifts and transportation facilities, and also for movement of transport means such as carriages and conveyors. Device has electric motor and control system. Motor stator is made in the form of magnetic core with teeth embraced by coils which are bundled in groups each including not less than two coils. Rotor is made as ferromagnetic and is provided with teeth. Stator can be made as opened, whereas rotor is adapted for possible rotation relative to stator. Control system has sensor installed on stator for detecting relative positioning of teeth of stator magnetic core and of rotor teeth. Also included in control system are arithmetic-logical unit, current frequency converter, timer, and current amperage regulator. Arithmetic-logical unit is connected with timer, coils are connected to source of current through current frequency converter and current amperage regulator.
