SUBSTANCE: spring washer has section boundary line in at least one of longitudinal sections. At least part of section boundary line is made in form of fragment or combination of fragments of oblique conical section of straight round cone. Invention provides making of spring washer with directivity of strength properties in longitudinal section of washer built in by design, with due account of its work in bend or shear, increased efficiency of locking against self-loosening of threaded joints in contact with washer at reduction of compression forces to ensure elastic deformation, and facilitated determination of manufacture, if washer is provided with manufacturer's identification mark.
