FIELD: evaluation of quality of opticoelectronic systems of distant sounding by way of measurement of their resolution on location. SUBSTANCE: aerial survey of test object (line mire) is conducted and its image is obtained. Transformation xo is executed on central part of image with arrangement of signals and isolation of group of four maxima. Then one switches to system of coordinates related to rectangle of mire, amplitude Ai of lines in groups in image (i=1, n) and their area Sfi are computed. Later root-mean-square deviation of noise in image is calculated and signal-to-noise ratio Φi is computed by formula where k1 is coefficient taking into account number of stripes in group of lines.
