FIELD: shipbuilding seagoing ship automatic control. SUBSTANCE: automatic control equipment includes direction setter, rudder shift angle sensor, summing amplifier and speed generation unit. Besides that, automatic control equipment is additionally provided with receiver-indicator, differentiating unit and two multiplier units. Control law is formed by course angle of satellite navigational system but not by heading angle at introduction of ship's lateral drift signal and use of signal of estimation of rate of change in course angle and rate of change in ship's lateral drift proportional to angle of drift. EFFECT: reduction of high-frequency interference in heavy sea; enhanced reliability; improved quality of ship handling. 1 dwg
