FIELD: spacecraft mating systems; quick separation of spacecraft components. SUBSTANCE: device includes housing where explosive charge chamber, sleeve, rod and insert with bearing beads are located. Membrane on whose tail-piece rod is secured is rigidly secured inside above-mentioned housing. Housing is provided with spherical surface for limiting sagging of diaphragm. Separable members are secured on tail portion of sleeve. When explosive charge operates, membrane is subjected to deformation under action of gases. As a result, rod moves relative to beads of inserts and inserts fall into circular bores of rod freeing the sleeve tightening up the separable members. EFFECT: avoidance of transmission of pulse in opening the joint; enhanced reliability of separation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
