FIELD: mechanical engineering; blades made from composite materials for impellers of axial-flow fans of large diameters which may be used in cooling towers. SUBSTANCE: blade fin made from composite material has form of thin- walled envelope forming wing profile of blade, adapter and root portion of blade which is just round rod; it may be secured to bush of fan impeller in inner cavity of blade formed by thin-walled envelope; it is also provided with reinforcing member made from composite material; reinforcing member consists of at least two load-bearing profiles of varying height. Load-bearing profiles are connected with thin-walled envelope. Load-bearing members divide inner cavity of blade into parts; each part is filled with self-foaming material. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of fan during protracted operation at alternating loads; reduction of total mass of fan. 5 cl, 6 dwg
