FIELD: gas industry, applicable in reconstruction and modernization of gas- distribution stations of gas mains. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in heating of heat-transfer agent of the gas heater by fuel gas, generation of electric power by a self-sustained power source by using the pressure differential of the pressure-reduction unit, use of this power for station auxiliaries and additional heating of heat-transfer agent by the overcurrent power of the power source.
