FIELD: preheaters with liquid heat-transfer agent; gas, chemical and oil refining industries. SUBSTANCE: liquid and gaseous media preheater has housing filled with liquid intermediate heat-transfer agent with tube bank for product to be heated arranged inside it, coil for heating fuel gas, flame tube connected to burner unit and fire tube bank located above it and connected to flame tube. Flame tube of preheater is provided with two rectangular plates in its lower portion; these plates are positioned tangentially relative to surface at angle of turn and width ensuring embracing zone of fire tube bank and length equal to length of flame tube; fire tubes are provided with plate members located over entire length of tubes and secured at angle relative to their surface.
