METHOD OF REGENERATION OF SATURATED SOLUTION OF ABSORBENT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: extraction of steam from gas in natural and petroleum gas drying plants in preparing them for transportation. SUBSTANCE: method includes removal of saturated absorbent from absorber, delivery of it to desorber, taking of absorbent solution from bottom of mass exchange part of desorber, preheating of it in furnace under pressure sufficient for keeping it in liquid phase state, throttling of solution, delivery of it to still part of desorber and recirculation of part of absorbent solution through furnace; part of absorbent solution circulating through furnace is used for preheating the absorbent through heat- exchange surface before delivery of it to furnace for pressure heating; then it is subjected to throttling and absorbent solution is fed under heat- exchange surface of evaporator. Part of absorbent preheated in furnace is taken for recirculation in the amount required for restoration of temperature of regenerated product flow of absorbent after throttling.
